ABOUT ME -- aka Ris loves to talk about herself

GENERAL CRAP

Heh, where to start? Well, for a start my name's Ris - I can't stand my actual name, and people always mispronounce it, so I leave it at Ris. It's who I am, man! I'm seventeen as of the moment, and my birthday is on September 7th. Ever so nearly an adult now! I have a younger brother called Xander who's fourteen and just as anime obsessed as me. Not that I had anything to do with that or anything. *whistles innocently*

I'm a Virgo, I live in England and have done for all my life, I'm 5'6", I have blue eyes, my hair is brown and at a really sucky length right now, I wear size 10 clothes (which is US size 6 I think?) and my blood type is O. I swear much more than I probably should and I dropped out of college after a month.

Also, I'm a loser. You've probably picked that much up already, no!? XD

MY E-LIFE

My life revolves around the Internet, I'm slightly ashamed to say! I generally spend my time on AnimeLeague.net, where I'm an assistant. Go sign up and say that Itsuko sent you there~! It's awesome, and the community spirit there is freaking great.

I also pretty much live on Livejournal, namely the CAPSLOCK DRESSING ROOM aka THE BEST WORST ROLEPLAY EVERRRRRR~~~~ I love it so much. I also have too many characters there, haha. So, uh. SORTA HELPS THAT I'M A CAPSLOCK-OBSESSED FREAK TOO, DOESN'T IT!? FUCK YEAH CAPS *kisses the capslock button*

HOBBIES AND INTERESTS

When I don't have the Internet or my brother's on WOW, I play video games and read. Favourite video game has to be Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3. It's the BEST FUCKING GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED. Ever. asfksagdslg I LOVE IT.

Also, Guitar Hero III. Enough said. (WHYYYY DO I SUCK SO BAD ON HARD!? ;_;)

As far as books go, I read pretty much anything. I generally go for either fantasy or horror (or both!) but I do enjoy sappy romance novels too sometimes. XD *is shot*

ANIME AND MANGA

Hah, this gets its own section 'cause I'm such an obsessed little fangirl.

I've attended one anime convention, AlCon 2008, and OH FUCK IT WAS AWESOME. It was SO awesome. I made some fucking brilliant friends there and we've stayed in touch, too, which is great! I'm currently planning on attending London MCM Expo October '08, KitaCon '09 and AlCon '09.

I'm also a cosplayer. A dreadful one, may I add! XD

So far I've cosplayed as Yukari from Persona 3 and Haruhi from The Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya, but upcoming cosplays I have planned include Konata from Lucky Star, Simca from Air Gear, Near from Death Note and Rikku from Final Fantasy X. I... might post pictures here? Maybe? Probably not. I dunno, convince me.

My manga collection currently consists of Absolute Boyfriend 1-5, Air Gear 1-6, Aishiteruze Baby 1, Black Cat 1, Bleach 1, D.N.Angel 1, Death Note 1-13, D.Gray-man 1-3 and 8, Gravitation 1, Hayate The Combat Butler 1, Hot Gimmick 7-9, Loveless 1, Monochrome Factor 1, Rave Master 1, Silver Diamond 1, Vampire Doll 1-2 and Vampire Knight 1-2. It's growing pretty damn quickly, though! Whenever I have money, I... tend to spend it on manga. ^^;
